Subject: Allulose as an artificial sweetener

Pittsburg, Kansas

Dr Benjamin Bikman (insulin and metabolic researcher) talks about recent research concerning the protentional benefits of the artificial sweetener allulose.

The first 20 minutes is about insulin resistance which Bikman is an expert on and if any of you have followed my previous links may have heard that information before. But around minute 20 or 21 he specifically talks about allulose. There may be positive benefits besides just the benefit of not having calories.

The whole presentation is well worth watching for anyone interested in their dietary issues. Even gets into Alzheimer's. "Ketones are therapeutic for neurons?"
