Cleaning up my Gmail due to hitting storage limits.  If like me you tend to ignore the tons of emails in Promotions and Updates, you can probably clear up multiple gigs by deleting those emails.  I searched for all emails in the promotions category that were older than 3 months and haven't been read yet.  If they're in that category, I'll probably never see them so may as well delete.  Be sure after selecting the box to select all messages, to click the option to the right to select all messages that match the criteria.  Then after doing this, change from promotions to updates.
