Southeast WI | Matt Ruark and his office staff are currently working on the stats. It's pretty fuzzy yet to say if we have a real gain to PB yet or if it contributed "nitrogen" . However there was a bump numerically in almost every comparison over 4 reps at every rate. Matt and Damon Smith had a couple trials with 8 N rates w and w/o PB that showed nothing from PB and same with one other NOPP trial conducted by another farmer. I'll post those trials after the university presents the data at winter meetings. We will have another go at this next year. We also have ear leaf samples to look at and end of year 2' soil nitrate samples to look at. Maybe that will bring some clarity. | |
