Western-Central Lower Michigan | Ok, a little sarcastic, but IMHO true to some degree.
Windows 10 was new and different when it came out. People liked windows 7 and were slow to accept change (as usual).
Now with most people on Windows 10 and everyone happy, Microsoft needed to do SOMETHING to show they were in CHARGE of operating systems.
Here comes Windows 11, its really not that much different than Windows 10. BUT, Microsoft says you cant have Windows 11 unless your computer meets "these arbitrary specifications"... Many Windows 10 users computer wont make one or more of those specifications.
So, Windows 11 not popular, its nothing really new, just some odd changes and YOU PROBABLY HAVE TO BUY A NEW COMPUTER. There are sneaky ways to upgrade 10 to 11 on unsupported hardware, but they are a bit "technical" and its a fight to get updates.
Im going to go out on a limb and say Windows 11 is VISTA all over again. |
