good feed, but if you're looking at temps we're looking at here in N. Indiana, I wouldn't want a lot of open bales setting around. It's a moist feed so consumption will be higher to meet needs, but they should eat it into the ground vs dry hay. Now if we were in late Dec or Jan/Feb, 10 bales should keep for a couple weeks easy.
