Hillsboro, KY. | What are you guys in other areas of the country getting for prices on per pound of weight gain??? The cost of gain has went up tremendously in the last couple of years but what guys are wanting to pay hasn’t! Given the cost of fertilizer and now a 20’ batwing mower being $40k instead of the $20k it was a few years ago, old figures don’t make you any money.Guys want to pay $.40-$.50 cents for good grass and I think we should be $.75-$.80 cents per pound of gain.
