Today is is done by destroying the lens in your eye with ultra-sound (I think) and vacuuming out the debri. Then a plastic lens is inserted by rolling it up in a small tube insertedin your. When the tube is remove the lens unrolls and attaches to theye. You usually go home as soon as your recover from the anesthesia. | |
