Kingdom of Callaway - Fulton, Mo 65251 | What is the best brand of custom cattle tags for longevity and visibility?
I have been using write on blank tags and need something that doesn't fade and lasts, and that I don't have to run to the farm store for more just to find out they are out. I have been using z-tags and button style and really don't have much trouble with them losing out.
What is your opinion on which color combinations of background color and number color are the easiest to read in the field?
I thought of going to two different colors. One for BM and ship at weaning girls, and one for keeping cows.
Picture is of our first "spring" calf of 2024. Momma is a second period last chance heifer purchased a month ago. "Calving date of Feb 1st".
