Subject: RE: trip to Mayo Clinic

central - east central Minnesota -

kanfarmer - 11/27/2023 05:36 I have an appointment at Mayo Clinc in Feb. Was looking for a motel/hotel to stay at. Any recommendations close to clinic? Thanks for any info.

There are several different hotels, that are directly connected to the Mayo Clinic you can chose from. There are moderately priced up to high rent choices. Hilton's, Marriott, Residence Inn, Garden Inn's, Kahler Grand (as mentioned), and less expensive Kahler Inn, Holiday Inn, Residents Inn . . . .
Google map of accommodations (Hotels) by Mayo Clinic for all your choices - There are no bargains, with connected hotels to the clinic - if you want lessor expensive accommodations, you have to stay out away from the medical area. There are two large parking garages by the clinic/hospital. Easy to get into and out of and moderate parking fee's. The Damon Ramp (across street from clinic and connected by tunnel to clinic) and the Graham parking ramp (connected to Hospital / clinic by tunnel).
It is very convenient to stay at one of the hotels connected close to the clinic. Gives a person a chance to go back to their room between appointments if wanted (but, the hotel rooms are not as inviting or something to do, as the clinic facility itself) - If you have more then a one day visit. If you have only one day, parking away from the health care area is fine and then drive to the parking ramp for the day. They have volunteers at the entrances and elevators to help direct people to where they need to be. Very easy to figure out and get around between appointments. .
