Subject: RE: Building a litter/lime conveyor

central - east central Minnesota -

BCAS - 11/20/2023 18:27 I’m planning to build myself a litter/lime conveyor for loading my spreader. Doing some pen and paper drawings I figure I need 40ish feet of length to do what I have in mind. My plan was to buy 88k drag/pintle chain and build a bar chain like BBI/Chandler/Adams use in their litter spreaders but if I’m dragging 40’ of chain I’m questioning if 88k would hold up a reasonable amount of time. Does anyone here have knowledge on this or a suggestion of what would be better? I know some people load litter with belt conveyors but I work with wet material some so I question if that would be the ticket

Here's a consideration - Price is Right   https://marshall.craigslist.org/grd/d/canby-50-foot-gravel-conveyor/7688743225.html  .
