NWC Ohio
I would do it yesterday without hesitation. It has not hurt my fuel economy either. If you have high oil consumption, mine did when I bought it, I switched to Schaeffer’s Supreme 9000 and that cut my oil consumption from 5-6 qts between changes down to 2 qts on another 2-3000 mile interval. Running 7,500-8,000 miles now.

It is a simple just plug it into the OBD2 port and away you go. No check engine lights. My truck has onstar capabilities but I never paid for the subscription.
