I dug a hole for a brush pile in an area that had been filled with scrapers back in the early 60'a couple years ago. once I got under the frost line that dirt came up like gravel it was so compacted. must have been a deep ditch, went down ten feet and never got under that layer.
I would say this will be there long after I am gone.
