East of Broken Bow | When I got mine, I was unimpressed with the brightness of the laser. Figured it was just how it was. After a few uses, it seemed even dimmer yet, so I got new batteries for it, and it made quite a difference. I'm assuming mine must have sat on a shelf somewhere before it was sold and the batteries were weak from the start.
With fresh batteries, it is bright enough for daytime use at short range, and in twilight, you can see it 40-50 yards away.
