Western-Central Lower Michigan | ATT, Verizon, and TMobile all have Cellular "5G home internet". Its a box the size of a small loaf of bread. It picks up a signal from their Cell Tower and (if you have reception) has a couple of 8 pin jacks to plug a computer directly into or it also has a wireless built in with a password to log on. Do not confuse this with a HOTSPOT, its only for internet.
I picked TMobile, hooked up and get around 200mb download, and 5 to 8 mb upload. TMobile said they dont have a fixed speed, as Phone traffic has priority, so the speed varies some.
I was getting along fine with 14mb down on my old DSL, but that was nearly as much money. Its easy to set up and really works. The monthly cost is $50 and they will discount that if you have a TMobile phone. I was told the price isnt special, its going to be $50 forever. The other Cell companies have similar pricing, so talk to what ever Cell company is your strongest.
