Eastern NE KS | I normally use Virashield 6 L5 as a gestational booster for lepto and viral reproductive diseases. This year I was forced to buy Virashield 6 L5 HB. The HB is another leptospirosis which is a whole 'nother story between my vet and I. I got lucky on my purchase. The extra cost me a bit more but didn't knock me far off my normal booster. My neighbor had to go to a mixed vaccine to match disease lineup and stay with killed.
When vaccinating open cows, my preferred reproductive vaccine is a modified live type called Vista 5 VL5. A while back (2-3 years), it was unavailable for about a year. Back then COVID-19 had supplies snarled, or so I was told. Seems supply issues are caused by a lot of different things. | |
