Just outside downtown Prairie Hill
Dale, We don't do much. Curtain has a fairly heavy pipe in the bottom seam. We have a vertical pipe on the outside of the curtain on each barn pole. Our barns poles are on 10' spacing. This vertical wind pipe is spaced @ 4" out with a piece of pipe and screwed to the post with long lags. Lags go thru the spacer pipe. One at the top and one on the bottom. Our barns have 3' walls and we allow @ 1' ish on the bottom of the curtain and @ 2'ish on the top. Wind pipes prevent the curtain from covering these openings. Only issue is wind pockets on the ends. We usually just screw a cover board to the west end and let the east end take care of itself....not much east winds here. We just make seasonal adjustments to our curtains. You can get lots more involved. We are just fans of simple.
