I’ve never understood the mass treat off the truck. Find a vaccine program that doesn’t stress them to death, and see if the pulls are manageable, if not mass treat at that time? Zuprevo/Banamine is the treatment I use most.
+1 on that, especially if concerned about myco. I've always thought myco to be a secondary infection. A different bug gets them down, then myco kills them.
Nasalgen 3 PMH and Vision 7 with somnus as soon as they hit the ground has been SOP here for about 2 years. Death loss and pulls has shrunk considerably. With a little trial and error, I've landed on boostering with Once PMH and Titanium 5 L5 HB (I raise all breeding stock) about 3 months later to be very effective. Calves are 5-6 months old at booster time.
These vaccines may not fit your operation, but works here.
My point here is that a custom tailored vaccine protocol is more effective than any drug will ever be.
