I have a Samsung Galaxy S5 that takes decent pictures.  It's no longer connected to the cell system.  I have a device that plugs into it and the other end plugs into a USB port.

The computer shows that there's something there, i.e. drive "J".  But clicking on it says there's no data. 

I'd like to be able to use the phone for shooting video and pictures and then transfer them to my computer.  I can't figure it out.  My new phone isn't anywhere near as good for pictures, it's just a phone.
