In such a long presentation my mind sometimes wonder or something in the midst will draw my attention away and maybe miss critical points. I will often listen to a long presentation a second time if I think it is worth the time spent. Of course the summary by another person is going to be what was most important to that person, but I picked up things I missed in the longer interview or at least missed the significance.
