Central Nebraska | I too have astigmatism and it was the primary reason I started wearing glasses 25 years ago. I also tried contacts but I struggle with dry eyes and they were always uncomfortable or out of place. About 10 years ago I decided to splurge and get prescription sunglasses. I've always had Oakleys because they are extremely durable. There are times of the year when I wear them significantly more than my regular glasses, which area also the transition type but don't seem to reduce glare enough for me.
Glasses are expensive. My last pair was $500+. I have two pairs of sunglasses that are one prescription old that are what I wear for work and other outdoor activities. They are not cheap but I don't like squinting all day and having a headache. |
