What is a good place to get glasses that doesn't scratch easily. I've had 2 pairs this year. I've had glasses for 40 years and I can't remember the last time I've had so much trouble keeping them.from scratching and getting foggy. Maybe I'm just getting old and when I was younger it didn't bother me as much.
I have worn crown glass lenses since I was a teenager. I can’t stand the chromatic aberrations of plastic lenses. Warped colors and lines the peripheral vision. Crown glass does not have this happen.
As for longevity, my current lenses are almost 10 years old. They have some scratches, but I am still wearing them. It’s about time to get a new pair as my vision has changed slightly and I can notice it now. |
