Subject: RE: Tingly and nauseous spells

Pittsburg, Kansas
If a person eats a high carb breakfast (especially sugary) the body puts out a bolus of insulin to counteract. Then a glycemic rebound happens and blood sugar can bounce low.

In most people this simply manifests as a hunger signal. But for a few they can get low blood sugar symptoms like a diabetic that takes too much insulin shot for the food/activity experienced.

I had a grandson that did that when younger. He was told by doctor to eat a snack.

Edit: Better advice would have been to not eat crap for breakfast. Eat bacon or sausage and eggs. No insulin induced rebound blood sugar levels with a protein and fat meal.
