South Central MN | Something we do is brown a roast (can be a tougher roast, preferably without a lot of fat or bones), put it in a crockpot. Over the top, sprinkle a packet of Hidden Valley ranch (the powder, not the bottle), a sprinkle of Worcestershire sauce, a half a stick of butter, and about half a jar of pepperncinis. You can cook it in the crock pot for a long time and shred for sandwiches, or shorten the cooking time a bit. Very tender and very tasty without taking the beef flavor away. | |
