Since we were kids 40 some years ago we have purchased maybe 8 gas grills over that time. Most were the least expensive we could find. They worked OK but were fairly short lived, 4-5 years.

About 10 years ago we bought a Weber Spirit E210 grill. I believe it cost us about $300, was the same price at the local farm store as at the big box store 150 miles away. Used it today and realized it needs to have the burner covers (flavorizer bars) replaced. Cost for 3 new bars is $50. Rest of the grill looks like new. Needs to be cleaned though. I see they are about $500 now. I don't remember seeing too big of a sale on them winter or summer. Maybe $25 or $30 off. If something happened to the one we have I would buy another.

The 2 burner is about the right size for us. Small enough it doesn't take up too much space on a small deck and big enough to grill about 10-12 burgers at a time when the kids are here.

Had one just like it, but had to sell it when moving.

Don’t know what it is, but something a Weber even makes the food taste better.

Edit to add, you don’t need the biggest/fanciest one either.
