We need way more info to give helpful advice.  How old is the PC you are using? How is it connected?  What band/frequency is it using?  Are the drivers up to date?

I suspect you have multiple issues going on beginning with an older PC that has an older WiFi card in it that can't take advantage of the newer wireless standards.
