Nw Iowa | We had terrible wet springs in both 18 and 19 ( two years in a row, might be off a year) and although you could still see tracks in some parts of the field, the two track tractors left less of a track than wheels or quads. If I remember we got stuck only once and that was a broken tile on a end row at 2 in the morning. . If you get too far in the mud with either you have problems, you are just as stuck. Biggest disadvantage to a two track is pulling a load around something and I understand air seeders or something like that were you have full load going around holes but with a field cultivator, common sense was all you need. | |
