Following. Our 567 does that and have not really tried to adjust it.  But what we do is adjust the hydraulic kickout to stay engaged until we manually kick it out or after closing we give the lever another jog.  So long as you do not forget it works everytime.  Put it down to some kind of hydraulic issue.  Also learned that if the tailgate works open and you get the buzz it is just better to stop and dump then rebale it rather than trying to keep going.  Balers can be temperamental.  Really like the baler but we only bale about 3-400 bales a year.
