So you’d like them to control imports, exports, and pricing? It’s called capitalism. ASA is involved in expanding trade, education, and advising in government policy.


Great, capitalism. Now do the checkoff, what's that called? Theft? Socialism? Cronyism? Politics?

The theory of checkoffs seems good. In practice it ends up like every other socialist utopia. People get free travel, free food, pictures with important people and get to feel important, and accomplish almost nothing......all while on someone else's dime.
