Subject: RE: milking robots

Central Virginia
We put in lely A5's 2.5 yrs ago. We priced and compared Lely, GEA and Delaval. The cost was about the same, the service and experience for Lely is what made our decision. I'm able to do most of the service and repairs myself. The dealer is 2.5 hrs away and has only had to come 4 times for emergency repairs. I could have done all but one myself if I had the parts. I like their software and am always making small changes in the feed table, milk access and pmr based on all the data.
