I don't know about your 8420, but on our 8130 fuel pickup is in the right corner of the tank. Consequently we have run out of fuel, when tractor is leaning to the left on a hill side, even with a few bars left on the gauge. If we are on flat ground, refuel at one bar for sure. Hillsides 3 or 4 bars.
