Installing several modules on my planter and realized I am 1 short on the Can cables at the Y and could connect the last one direct to the Y instead of adding a stub, Y and then terminator. Potential issues without a terminator?
Connect it without the terminator and go to the field. Get the additional Can cable and Y splice on order, and install them when they come in.
I've seen a great many systems running without the back end terminator. Ag Leader's CANbus implementation must be more robust than most, as I've almost never seen a termination issue, but I still only run without one as a temporary measure. |
