3 seasons  ago,  I  retracked a pivot with a 6 foot extension at the pivot.

Well,  as promised by the service guy,  the new tracks have pounded out, and time to put it back to original.   I also have a pivot right next to it that needs this extension put in.. so  nothing needs to be fab'd up.. just swapped around.     

These 2 fields are  the type that has clay knobs between the sand dunes.. LOL, so  no amount of track filling/packing   can make it a full season.   retracking is about the only 'cheap' fix.  

just for my information,  how is the span 'reeled' back in to shorten it up?
