NE Nebraska | Contact Intuit direct and let them know you do not want the Online version because it will not work for your business. Desktop is now an annual fee $549 and payroll is an additional annual fee, ours is $650/year. There may be cheaper versions of the payroll; however then they charge a per employee and per payroll fee (from what I was told when I contacted Intuit about my options).
Online is entirely different than desktop. Our son/DIL have it and I'm in a bookkeeper group and while they all agree that desktop is far better & more powerful, many prefer the Online so they can work remotely.
Intuit is greatly increasing it's virtual bookkeeping staff. By transitioning people to their Online product they will know exactly how you use the product (and likely monetize it) and likely encourage their virtual bookkeeping. | |
