I am looking at an older dairy barn that has a slatted floor in it with an underground pit. having NO experience with this style floor, how does one know if the floor is safe to use or is it worth looking at filling it in?
We would be looking at possibly using it for winter beef cow housing or steers. if its feasible of course.
