Sandea kills them but NEVER use near strawberries.The only option I know of in a small patch is a good long cuffed rubber glove with a cotton glove on the exterior.Mix a semi dilute mix of glyphosate in a small bucket.Dip your cotton rubber combo,squeeze off excess,grab vine and give it a quick slide thru your glove.What contacts your glove fluid will croak including strawberries but they are quite durable and gly rarely spreads to the next crown.Be careful on excess fluid drips.
