After being dry for a year or more we finally got some rains (2-5”) a couple weeks ago. Too dry to plant before although that has turned out to be a good decision for those that did. After today, if the forecast holds true, we may not be planting any more for one to two weeks.
I figured this weather pattern would change eventually. We usually average out. It wasn’t supposed to happen for another month or two.
It’s just becoming a big challenge.
