Nc Ks. | I'll probably jinx it by saying this, but our wheat is looking better everyday. Turned blue twice the past few weeks to get saved by a 1.20 and later .80 inch rains. I guess this cooler weather is benefiting heading. We'll need some more rain or it will run out of gas when it turns hot, but there is a chance later part of this week. i remember one year years ago similar to this year and moisture was barely adequate but managed to surprise us at harvest. They say it has nine lives. I think we're at 8. | |
