If you make a pass, get out of the tractor and look at your tracks in the field are they wavy or straight?  If straight, don't look at your front wheels. 


I mean if you really really hate it you can get fancy and start upping the heading and other things to a point it gets jittery and then back it off a bit. It sounds like you're purposely going the other way so it's slow and lazy. It's best to find a happy medium.
