I figure there has been plenty of panic selling so no need to raise the basis until they work through that. I thought basis would do the heavy lifting this summer but it would be really odd to see basis greater than the underlying futures. Lol.
Fairly locally here today I saw the last few bucket loads of corn being loaded out of a bunker. Is the concrete still full or not, idk.
Has the basis improved in the last few days?
