I liked the Trimble FMD I had, when setting up the A-B lines. I could set A, start driving and hit B points, if I didn’t like the previous B point. Once I finished the pass, I could save the A-B line with the last B point. Does the Pro 700 have a feature like this ?
No. As soon as you press B, the swath is immediately saved with the A and B you selected. If you want a different B, you could engage on the new line and record a new AB while you're engaged. Manually enter the A of the original line, so you have the same starting point, and then press B when you get to the desired B point. It would accomplish the same outcome, but definitely not as straightforward as in the Trimble display.
The only time you get a second chance to enter a different B on a Pro 700 is if the display rejects the first B (for example because it is too close to the A point). But that's not your situation. | |
