SE Iowa | Re corn demand.. cof are running 11.5-11.7 mil for last 6 months when normal numbers are closer to 12 mil.. so it off sets ..
Re feeders.. as you compare the index and may feeders you can see the premium (+8) built in with the may expiring 5/25.. every month so far this year has come down to the index.. so with q now a $25 premium you can see the risk.. plus k feeders to oct fats carry a $43 sprd .. back in feb feeder to the corresponding harvest month was running roughly $20-22 spread so .. somthing got to give.
Take a look a q feeders and use dec fats.. its now running +$59.. those numbers represent big losses for the finisher if dec cant boogie up… backgrounders are loving it.. | |
