My mom couldn't take anything for her arthritis pain except Tylenol. So she was prescribed (prescription strength) Voltaren. It worked for her as she could put it right on the spots that hurt her. Seeing it is a NSAID, you do have to be careful, ask you doctor, if you are already taking any NSAIDS already. But like I said, it did help my mom.
