Southern Ohio | Also had one recently that I asked about on here. She was a prolapse that needed a few days to recover and wasn't the most accepting of her calf. Finally started consistently letting the calf nurse so I weaned calf off the bottle over a few day period, just to find the calf practically dead after another day or two. Somehow saved the calf and put her back on the bottle. Moved them to a small pasture while I fed out momma for a couple months before shipping. Calf ended up nursing that whole time so she was producing something, just not a lot, apparently. | |
