| I have been wearing side clip suspenders for years. Only two clips vs 4. I used to get them from Duluth, but they never lasted more than a year and were prone to coming off my pants.
Several years I stumbled onto the Hold Up suspender company and bought their "trucker" suspenders and have never looked back.

They last well over a year before the elastic is gone.
Only two clips on my sides, so they never get in the way.
The clips have PINS inside them to bite through my jeans and almost never come loose and never fall off.
I plan on wearing them until I can't get them anymore. | |
