The thread you posted a screen shot out of is a guy that has a U-Blox receiver as a base station. He's sending his correction data to a server called RTK2GO. On that server his data stream is identified by the Name BALLOCH
http://www.rtk2go.com:2101/ will show you all the different base stations using RTK2GO

Getting back to the thread you screenshot: The solution to his problem was sending the correct correction data (sorry) to RTK2GO that the FJD receiver needs. Those rtcm messages are the 1006,1008,1033 ect
Back to your question: Unless you're close (15 miles) you'll need a base station. If you're a Geek like WildBuckwheat or me you can assemble one for $500 ish. | |
