Northeast IN | I am signed up to attend the Indiana Farm Bureaus Young Farmer Conference this year. Never been before and thought it would be a decent weekend getaway. My question is how young of people attend the conference? I have an 11 year old boy who helps a lot on the farm and really enjoys it. Saturday night is top golf and the registration said all ages welcome. I am staying the weekend at the hotel so if my boy goes with me he either has to hang out at the hotel Friday evening and Saturday day by himself or attend the conference. Do others bring their kids? I don’t want to be the odd one out. My boy does well attending things and wants to tag along to farm related stuff but he usually ends up being the only kid. As long as he enjoys these things right now I hate to tell him no. Hopefully he sticks with it and stays around to be 6th generation farmer if he wants.
