Central Alberta | With the Win 11 file explorer I clicked on C:\Pictures. I didn't see the file I just saved, so I clicked on the "Date" header to put the newest file at the top. It proceeded to display a green progress bar (similar to when it's searching) for over 2 hours until I did a cold reboot. Two files I had recently saved to \Pictures are nowhere to be found, but an extra copy I saved to desktop and moved to \Pictures is there. Very annoying.
Bit of a surprise since it's a new machine, with an OEM install of Win 11, an i7 1260 processor a 1 TB SSD and lots of DDR5 RAM. | |
