My daily laptop/notebook is a MacBook but it pretty much sits by my recliner. My business computers are still Windows so I can run Quickbooks and SMS and nearly everything else not music or entertainment related. A TV may not make a great monitor either. 42" would be uncomfortably large and a lot of TVs make poor computer displays.
