I have ran 16 row lexion non chopping on a 2014 740wheeled machine since combine was new. Weight has never been a problem. I have the 3 rib drive belt. My issue is when corn is green or stalks are heavy and tougher, 2.5 to 3 mph the spring in the variable speed pulley will not hold and cause belt to slip. Late in the season or light stalks usually not a problem.
