Illinois | We have a Cat 325 DL excavator with a pre-emmission Cat C 9 engine. The machine seemed to work fine previously. We didn't use it for a couple of months, now it lacks power and smokes terribly out the exhaust pipe under any kind of load. It idles fine. We have installed new fuel filters and checked the fuel flow, all is good. Air filters are like new also removed them to make sure something wasn't blocking the air intake pipe, all looks fine. Externally everything looks in order. We are looking for helpful suggestions to investigate before calling the Cat dealer to send out a mechanic. TIA
